This series started as inspiration from two friends.

One friend, my husband, Mike encouraged me to paint like I do in my journals which is a free, abstract style.

In my journals, I mainly just wipe off excess paint from my brushes on the pages. A simple, colorful mess.

Even in journals, what starts as play with no vision in mind turns into a house or several.
